Read the following CI sample #7 in Japan and give your best possible solution to it.
Michael and Irine were invited to a dinner party with their Japanese colleagues. The place was a famous restaurant in Yokohama.
They had a great time during the meal and enjoyed good conversation. It was quite late when the dinner party was over, but a Japanese colleague Kazuko and her husband invited me to their house for coffee, so they decided to drop by.
When Irine was shown around the house, what caught her eye was Kazuko’s collection of lacquerware. One plate, in particular, caught her eye, and she praised it wholeheartedly, saying, “It’s a wonderful plate.” Kazuko explained that it had been made in her brother-in-law’s kiln in Kyoto and that Kyoto was Kazuko’s hometown.
Kazuko took the plate and said, “If you like it so much, you can have it.” That surprised Irene. Irene said she could not accept such an expense. She put the plate back in its place, overcoming Kazuko’s insistence that she could not accept something of such high value.
