Read the following CI sample #2 in Japan and give your possible solution for it.

I was working part-time at a sushi restaurant in Japan. When I brought miso soup to someone who was obviously a Western foreign tourist, he almost handed me 100 yen. When I was puzzled, he put it on the tray and I frantically explained to him that tipping is not required in Japan.

What are the issue and the best possible solution to this incident?
